Bonghoven -- Bengalis in Eindhoven. Bengali is a rich Indian language, recognized as the sweetest language by UNESCO. It is mainly spoken by the people from the eastern state of India - West Bengal and Bangladesh.
Bonghoven is a Bengali association in South Holland (the Eindhoven region) with members spreading over from various parts around this region. Every year, we celebrate three events -- Swaraswati pujo, Naba barsha and Durga pujo. These events are attended by people from a wider radius -- all parts of the Netherlands, Belgium, Germany and Switzerland. Of course, people from various parts of India attend, support, and participate in various cultural activities.
