BongHoven ~ Bengalis in Eindhoven. Bengali is a rich Indian language, recognized as the sweetest language by UNESCO. It is mainly spoken by the people from the eastern state of India - West Bengal and Bangladesh. Bonghoven is a Bengali association in South Holland (the Eindhoven region) with members spreading over from various parts around this region. It started back in 2015 with celebration of Swaraswati pujo. Later, the scale and coverage of the events were expanded in 2017 with Durgapujo and Naba barsha (Bengali new year). Every year, we celebrate three events -- Swaraswati pujo, Naba barsha and Durga pujo.
